What is a Mule?
The Mule is lot of things! It's a neighborhood bar and a safe space for people of all backgrounds. It's a dive, which means it's dark, cozy, and unpretentious. And we do craft cocktails, which means we care about the drinks we make and create a lot of our products in house. But don't worry, we also have a solid selection of craft beer on draft and cheap domestic cans and wells. The Mule get's its name from our signature cocktail The Moscow Mule, which we make with our house made ginger beer. In short, we are a craft dive bar.
What Is ginger beer?
Ginger Beer is a non-alcoholic soda made with FRESH ginger and lemon juice, and sweetened with cane sugar. It has a lot of spice from the fresh ginger and just enough lemon and sugar to add balance. It's not for the faint of heart, but it makes the perfect mixer for our Moscow Mule and other Mule Variations. You can drink it here or take some home in growler bottles and cans! This is the Moscow Mule. House made ginger beer, vodka, and lime. No...we don't serve our Mules in copper mugs. Copper/metal mugs negatively affect the temperature and taste of our delicious ginger beer! They are also expensive and inflate the cost your cocktail. So toss the crappy shelf stable ginger beers and copper mugs and join us at The Mule. Your new favorite bar and ginger beer.
